Supply Chain/Procurement Analyst
Overview:
The Supply Chain/Procurement Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing our organizations supply chain and procurement actives. This role involves tracking inventory levels, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, driving cost reductions, and applying analytical skills to improve procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock is maintained, reducing overstock and out-of-stock situations.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers too ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
- Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify and implement strategies to drive down costs in supply chain without compromising on quality or service.
- Data Analysis: Use analytical tools to assess procurement data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek and implement process improvements within the supple chain to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, and cost-saving initiatives.
Required Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrate experience or knowledge in supply chain management and procurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Prior experience in a supply chain, logistics, or procurement role.
- Professional certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
