Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled orthopedic nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience working in an orthopedic setting and be able to provide expert care to patients undergoing various types of surgical procedures, including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
- Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- 2 years of experience as an orthopedic nurse
- BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Unit Specific Information
The orthopedic unit at Alamance Regional Medical Center has telemetry monitoring available and a physical therapy gym on site. This allows patients to receive adequate physical therapy without having to leave the unit.
