Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support NIH Stroke Certification Job Details Must have Cardiac PCU experience & be comfortable with 1 : 5 ratios 3x12s, Days, 7a-7p Weekend Rotation, Holidays as needed Minimum 2 yrs exp required. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - OK Ratios 1 : 4 with drips / bipap, otherwise mostly 1 : 5 EPIC Use of Rapid Response Teams preferred Nurse Assistants 24 / 7. RN secretary 7a-11p. Job Requirements Interpretation and Mgmt of dysrhythmias Telemetry -on the unit monitoring Pre / Post Cardiac Cath Peripheral Line Care and Management PICC line management Manage Cardiac drips- no titration Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration Procedural Sedation Administration Titrate Cardiac drips Titrate Vasoactive drips Chest tubes-Emerson Pleur-evac External CPAP BIPAP Tracheostomy Management Schedule Information Staff are scheduled for a 6-Week period via a self-assisted schedule through Optilink Staff are distributed within the schedule based on departmental need and based on patient work intensity, skill mix and previous assignments.
