Associate Scientist (full time) – Alamar Biosciences, Inc., 47071 Bayside Pkwy, Fremont, CA 94538. Work location in Fremont, CA. Improve the quality and process efficiency of antibody conjugate production; Execute and troubleshoot various antibody conjugation methods by carrying out experiments and gather data in protein/DNA analysis; Support research and development activities of company’s multi-plex immunoassays by executing experiments, troubleshooting and data analysis; Support content development by performing antibody screening experiments using company’s assay; Integration of established manual biochemical assays into in- house automation system; Maintain and organize reagent inventory in automation and conventional storage systems; Proactively report the results of experiments with supervisors. Requires master’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Molecular Biology. Molecular biology, analytical, and biochemistry methods; Protein Expression & Purification; Agarose gel electrophoresis; Bioinformatics analysis using “R” coding; SDS-PAGE; Protein based assays; Conjugation chemistry.
