The Director - Student Health & Wellbeing uses a culturally responsive, and whole child approach to direct the planning, development, organization, management, and implementation of a holistic and coordinated integrated student support system across ACOE operated schools. The Director - Student Health and Wellbeing is passionate and committed to removing barriers to student success for at-promise youth (expelled, pregnant and parenting, newcomers, court impacted, transitional age youth, and infants with disabilities) and adult opportunity academy students through the implementation of student services systems and supports centered around all aspects of student services including basic needs, health, behavioral health, and care coordination. The job reports to the assigned administrator.

Valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work or School Counseling (required)
Valid California LCSW, LMFT or license eligible (preferred)
Valid CA School Administrator Credential (preferred)
Master’s degree in social work, welfare, psychology or counseling
A minimum of ?ve (5) years of successful experience in a position performing pupil personnel services and/or related functions in a school setting (such as School Counselor, Social Worker, or related occupation)
A minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory role in schools or youth services agency.
Valid CA Driver’s License/Evidence of Insurability
