Description:
Hayward Wellness Center, an outpatient center serving a diverse patient population in Hayward, CA, seeks a compassionate and culturally competent physician to provide quality care to our community's most vulnerable patients.
We offer full scope adult and pediatric primary care, women's health services, including gynecology, family planning, obstetric, and prenatal care. Specialty care includes orthopedics, optometry, cardiology, rheumatology, and podiatry.
The selected candidate will participate in the supervision of mid-level practitioners and certified nurse midwives, practice evidence-based medicine, and manage patient flow effectively.
The ideal candidate is committed to teaching patients, families, and staff about promoting good health practices and providing counseling services.
Requirements:
Completion of an approved residency in a relevant specialty.
Possession of a current valid license to practice medicine in California and board certification or eligibility in the area of specialty.
CPI-Crisis Prevention Intervention Training, Basic Life Support Certification, and a valid DEA Number are also required.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a day schedule, working at Hayward Wellness Center as part of Alameda Health System.
