Job Description

Overview : We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional care to patients at our busy urgent care facility. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, helping to assess and treat a wide variety of non-life-threatening medical conditions.

Responsibilities :

Perform comprehensive health assessments, including physical exams and history taking.
Diagnose and treat acute and urgent medical conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
Administer treatments, procedures, and medications as needed.
Provide patient education on health conditions, prevention, and treatment options.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements, best practices, and urgent care protocols.

Qualifications :

Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in Texas.

Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ACNP or FNP).

Minimum of 1 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or related field (preferred).

Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle a variety of patient cases independently and in collaboration with a physician.
