Job Summary and Description
Oversees the operation of assigned center and/or program ensuring district, college, faculty and student objectives are met.
The Academic Program Coordinator will recruit, train and supervise Tutors for the Department of Academic Success.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of education, training and experience that equates to the required degree.
- Three years of directly related experience. (Tutoring/Academic Support Services)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in related field.
- Five or more years directly related experience
- Familiarity with study skills, learning styles and academic coaching techniques
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Strong Organizational skills
- Experience with Canvas Learning Program
Licenses and Certifications:
- Licenses or certifications may be required depending on area of assignment.
