Minimum Education/Experience:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent (GED).
- Six months of experience in a position that required public contact, reception duties, dispatching, or related duties.
- Some college.
- Formal training program after high school of approximately one year in duration and one year of related job experience.
- One year of experience including some experience with radio communications and computers.
- Position requires certification by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) within one year from date of appointment.
