Job Summary And Description
Provides master-level skills in the installation, repair, maintenance, and service of electrical systems. Oversees, maintains and repairs all District electrical equipment. Repairs, rebuilds and replaces electrical systems from the high voltage switch gear, electrical transformers, motor controls, panels, lighting, variable speed drives, and receptacles. Provides leadership, coaches, teaches, mentors and crafts specific technical guidance.

Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school or GED.
- 16,000 hours of electrical training :A) 8,000 hours as an apprentice and B) 8,000 hours as a journeyman.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Must meet all requirements of the Apprentice and Journeyman Electrician job descriptions.
- Seven courses of an Alamo Colleges District or equivalent approved high voltage training and confined space program.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver license. Must be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
- Must have a valid State of Texas master electrician license and must be kept current at all times.
