Job Summary and Description
Develops and writes grant applications in response to federal, state, local and foundation funding solicitations.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of education, training and experience that equates to the required degree.
- Two years of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Two or more years of experience writing successful federal and/or state grant applications.
- Knowledge of Grant Compliance: Understanding of compliance, rules, process requirements, and regulations related to district, federal, and state grants.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and interpret complex information to support grant applications.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in writing and reviewing grant applications.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to share research findings, collaborate with team members, and present as needed.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must possess a valid driver license and be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
