Job Summary and Description
Provides masterlevel work in the installation, maintenance, and service of Heating, Ventilation,Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC / R) systems. Responsibilities include overseeing,maintaining and repairing all District HVAC / R systems. Specific duties includerepairing, rebuilding and replacing bearings; operating centrifugal waterchillers and pumps; maintaining energy management systems; repairing variablefrequency drives; maintaining water treatment controllers, motors, heatexchangers, air conditioning compressors, heating boilers, ventilation and airconditioning systems; ordering and maintaining inventory. Additional duties include providingleadership, coaching, teaching, mentoring and craft specific technicalguidance.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience :
- High School or GED.
- Eight years of experience as a licensed HVAC technician, to include three as a supervisor or work leader.
