Job Summary and Description
Provides instructional design expertise in the development and support of hybrid and online courses. Assists faculty in the design of lessons and instructional modules, development of learning resources, and retooling of courses and course segments for traditional and online delivery.
Reports to the Department of Alamo Colleges Online, Colleges or other departments as needed.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
- Two years of job-related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, computer science, communications or a related field.
- Two years of job related experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver license. Must be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
- Must have completed the Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) workshop or be able to complete training within 6 months of hire.
- Must have completed the Higher Ed Peer Reviewer (PRC) course or be able to complete training within 6 months of hire.
Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
