Job Summary And Description
Provide strategic and tactical direction in developing and supporting enterprise information processes that relate technical and functional requirements in delivering solutions. Advisory and Work Leadership. This employee serves as chief liaison between Student Success Divisions and Information Technology Services. This employee is also responsible for Student Process Definition/Re-engineering and its implementation at the Alamo Colleges.
This position reports directly to the Associate Vice Chancellor, Student Financial Aid and Services, within the Student Financial Aid unit of the Student Success division.

Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
- Three years of experience performing a technology liaison role with major business function(s), with responsibility for planning, translating, and managing major technology projects.
- Experience and demonstrated proficiency in technology architecture and systems design best practices.
- Master's Degree
- Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field
- Five years of work-related experience and demonstrated proficiency in technology architecture and systems design best practices.
- Experience in Higher Education and Financial Aid preferred but not required.
- Knowledge and experience with Tableau, SQL, CRM systems, and ARGOS. Knowledge of Banner (Ellucian) a plus.
- Emphasis on process improvement, funds management, and report writing.
- Team player with positive attitude, supportive of change, willing to share ideas, innovative, kind, and uses technology to better serve clients.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver license and be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
