Company Overview: Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates and maintains Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete batch plants.
Billing Supervisor/Accountant Description: The Billing Supervisor/Accountant will be in charge of leading and supporting Billing personnel in order to service Alamo’s business needs and should be a self-motivated individual who can bring new ideas to the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Supervising and leading the Billing team to provide exceptional customer service to both external and internal customers
- Skilled in using billing application systems and serve as a liaison between the operations and accounting departments
- Provide revenue analytics/variance analysis and explanation
- Preparing general balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accounts receivable sub-ledgers
- Support month end closing, to include preparation of various journal entries and financial statement preparation and analysis
- Analyze fluctuations and provide explanations of operating financials relating to billing activities
- Completion of daily cash transaction tracking
Preferred Skills & Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Self-starter with a strong focus in process improvement
- Ability to communicate well with other departments and lead as a team player
- Able to walk, sit or stand for extended periods
