Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to identify and meet the maintenance needs at our Turlock facility.
The person selected for this role will be responsible to ensure that the building is well organized, with their equipment, appliances, and facilities in good working condition. Our ideal candidate is reliable and kind who can take care of maintenance (paint, yard work, A/C filter replacement, build furniture, move furniture into storage shed, etc). As part of the team, your role is to help ensure we are providing the best service to our residents, their families, and fellow co-workers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
- Diagnose problems with appliances and facilitate their prompt repairs for the convenience of residents, and carry out repairs on minor problems, such as light fixtures, clogged toilets, leakages, peeling wall and furniture.
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
- Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined
- Requirements: * This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent certificate.*
- Must possess a clean motor vehicle record.
- Communicate effectively verbally and non-verbally.
- Able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
