Location:
Our engineering team is our first line of defense against anything other than world-class
presentation. They help to ensure Alamo sets the standards of quality in public exhibitions
and are also there to lend a hand with special events, private parties, business meetings, or
any other situation requiring technical expertise to make excellent presentations on our
screens.

This role is a HYBRID position that will work remotely and sometimes onsite at both the Valley Fair and Mountain View locations.
CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Uphold standards of behavior as defined by the company's Core Values, Code of Conduct, and Operational Guidelines
Maintains the highest safety standards and follows all protocols to keep our teams and guests healthy - is knowledgeable about all Alamo policies and procedures
Responsible for all content allocation and ensuring playlists meet the correct show flow
Tracks all special events needs that require coverage
Ensures picture and audio meet company presentation standards with daily checks
Reports any visual and/or audio issues to the Presentation department
Check Ticket Monitor to be sure that all shows are placed in an auditorium that meets the show’s technical needs
Monitors the bookings and private event calendars for additions and cancellations
Keeps the projection booth clean, organized, and safe at all times Follows all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
Safely changes xenon lamps in 35mm and digital systems
Repair and maintain various cinema AV equipment
Any other tasks assigned by the Technical Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Maintains a working knowledge of digital projection systems
Performs preventative maintenance
Digital cinema file type and distribution knowledge
Basic IT technical skills and troubleshooting
Experience with audio-visual systems including mixers and PA systems
Basic knowledge of cable types for both video and audio devices
Comprehensive knowledge of 35mm projection systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail Basic knowledge of cinema audio systems
Experience with organization suites, like Google Docs and Airtable
Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Willingness to work unusual work hours (lots of evenings and weekends)
Some travel may be required
Willingness to work at multiple venues in some markets
