An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the U.S. Department of Labor. POSITION DUTIES: Plan, direct, and coordinate activities in an electrical transformer repair and rewinding plant, including logistics, workflow, inventory and staff. Standardize and restructure operations, control costs, drive high output, productivity and profitability, and enforce safety and quality. Propose and manage the plant’s operating budget. Develop and coordinate operating policies and procedures, production goals, process improvements and quality control initiatives in coordination with management and relevant departments. Direct, review and approve transformer design changes, specifications and procedures in coordination with management and relevant departments.
REQUIREMENTS Req. Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. 3 yrs. exp. Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical Engineer or equivalent position to include:
· 3 yrs. experience working with utility or industrial electrical transformers;
· 2 yrs. exp. implementing quality control and testing;
· 1 yr. exp. managing a production line.
