Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Classic Car Restoration Technician to join our team. This position involves restoring and maintaining classic vehicles, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for classic cars, strong mechanical skills coupled with an extensive background in restoration.
Duties
- Disassembly and Reassembly of restoration projects
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete restoration projects.
- Detail oriented.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Mechanical tasks such as R&R engines/transmissions; suspension; brakes; steering components
- Interior installs
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions for complex restoration challenges.
- Keep detailed records of work performed on each vehicle for client transparency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic (auto body repair skills a plus), specifically with classic or vintage vehicles.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and ability to read schematics.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
