What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investment Consultant (Chicago Area) position at Alan Biller?
We are seeking investment professionals in the Chicago area with an ability to provide expert-level, clear and logical presentations to a non-investment audience and that will assist our clients in making prudent investment decisions. Our Consultants give advice to large institutional boards of trustees and nurture those relationships that then lead to referrals for new business. They also have a high skill in leading and managing complex projects.
We advise on a wide range of asset classes from traditional to alternatives. Consultants develop asset allocation and investment policies by a thorough understanding of client requirements and manage all aspects of the client relationship. They build and maintain strong relationships with other service providers and provide market visibility through written and verbal presentations within the industry. Our Consultants help with securing new business and with finals presentations.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business or Economics
- CFA-required
- 4 years of investment experience with at least three years in a client-facing role.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation skills
- An eagerness to help with and work on business development
