Facilities Maintenance Tech / Porter - Alan Jay Wauchula
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of our properties and dealerships. You will perform maintenance tasks of a great variety such as landscaping, basic electrical work, basic plumbing work, painting, minor building repairs, pressure washing, handyman, moving cars, lot merchandising, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all safety and health guidelines and great attention to detail. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities
· Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.)
· Perform handyman repairs when necessary (fix locks, windows, plumbing, etc.)
· Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
· Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. grounds landscaping) and a plethora of other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.)
· Porter Duties (moving cars, driving, lot merchandising)
Skills
· Proven experience as maintenance technician
· Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and other systems
· Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
· Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
· Manual dexterity, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
· Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime as needed
· Must have own basic toolset, must be able to life up to 75 pounds
· Good under pressure & versatile
