What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Alaris Health at Hamilton Park?
Alaris Health at Hamilton Par, a 260 bed-skilled nursing Center in Jersey City, New Jersey, seeks a maintenance supervisor to be responsible for the maintenance operation of the Center and performing equipment repairs and maintenance. Additional responsibilities include :
- completing corrective and preventative maintenance of the grounds and building in a timely manner
- ensuring the building is in good repair and free of electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems hazards
- maintaining the fire alarm and emergency generator system in good working order, performing weekly tests on the fire alarm and emergency generator systems and keeping records of tests results
- orienting and instructing all maintenance personnel and recruiting and interviewing new hires
- reviewing and evaluating personnel’s work performance and designating work assignments and duty schedules
- and above all, ensuring that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual’s needs and rights
