We are seeking an experienced Assistant Fashion Designer to join our team in Mapleville, RI. As a key member of our design department, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and stylish knit sweater designs that meet the needs of our target market.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Interpreting current fashion trends, styles, and colors to inform design decisions.
- Developing and maintaining mood boards and style guides to inspire and guide the design process.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery of designs.
- Preparing technical packages (TPs) that clearly communicate style and technical details for accurate style development.
- Meeting all design deadlines and events on the design calendar.
Necessary Skills

- 1-2 years of experience in an apparel-related role.
