Duties
- Develop and implement cost-effective fund development program involving individuals, businesses, and private foundations
- Identify, cultivate, recruit, and organize fund development leaders and volunteers
- Event planning and non-profit fundraising
- Collaboration with stakeholders
- Increase AARS revenues from both public and private sources
- Responsible for overseeing AARS's online community
- Develop sponsorships and community connections
- Must have alignment with the mission, vision, and values of AARS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in appropriate field
- May have previous nonprofit management experience, which is preferred, specifically with organizations who receive funding from federal, state, and local governmental bodies
- Connections with state, federal, and local providers and stakeholders
- Must have professional demeanor, able to meet and communicate with political and business leaders
- Must have the ability to operate excel, create power points and report writing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Ability to write/manage grant proposals preferred
