Job Overview

Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation Services Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care for individuals on their journey to sobriety. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve, and we are seeking a skilled and empathetic Master's Level Clinician to join our mission-driven team.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to work at the lead Counselor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, Substance Use Disorder with a focus on providing support to individuals facing various challenges and dual diagnosis issues. As a Master's Level Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their healing journey.

Duties

  • Conduct individual and group sessions, utilizing techniques such as applied behavior analysis and crisis intervention.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, ensuring comprehensive care.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and shared experiences among clients.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for all counseling sessions in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Engage in research to stay updated on best practices in the field of counseling and behavioral health.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in individual group counseling and behavioral health settings.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and dual diagnosis care is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
