The crew at Alaska Concrete Solutions (ACS) is in need of new concrete pumpers to add to an ever-growing team of operators. ACS provides innovative concrete supply & full-scale concrete pumping services across south-central Alaska. Locally-owned, the company maintains an extensive pump fleet capable of all types and sizes of projects. Their fully ACPA-certified operating staff offers guaranteed service with 48-hour lead time, as well as a pristine record for worksite safety.

Qualifications:
- Class B CDL required.
- Equipment-operating experience required.
- Concrete industry experience preferred, but not required.
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Must meet DOT requirements for vision and hearing.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to service/perform basic mechanics.
- Ability to problem-solve under pressure.
- Clear verbal communication skills and calm, positive demeanor.
- Physical balance and dexterity to maneuver around a construction site and pump truck in all weather conditions, lift and carry pipes and clamps (up to 75 pounds in an overhead position), ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds, as well as tolerance to all-season outdoor work.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment fit-for-duty exam and drug test.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive pump trucks in a safe and conscientious manner to and from job sites.
- Skillfully operate a variety of pumps, including system set-ups and clean-outs.
- Perform basic pump repair/maintenance, including proficiency in recognizing problems early and reporting them.
- Serve as a professional representative of the company through efficient work and courteous service.
- Regularly wash pumps and trucks, keeping systems free of concrete and grease.
- Complete pump inspection forms, job tickets, timecards and maintenance forms on a timely basis.
