Alaska Family Services is excited to grow our Family Support and Preservation Program. We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and positive Family Contact Facilitator to make a difference in the lives of the families we serve. Full-time position available. Our program focuses on parent coaching and feedback while maintaining safe family time for families with children in OCS custody. This position will provide parent coaching and feedback for family time that takes place in a "home-like" setting.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in education, social work, sociology or related field. One year successful experience in family issues including; parenting support, parent education, child development, child management, child abuse including sexual abuse and neglect, crisis intervention and domestic violence.
