Substance Use Counselor in Wasilla for the Behavioral Health Treatment Center. Full time position available to provide substance use treatment services in an outpatient program. Minimum Qualifications: High school equivalency and one year full time work experience in chemical dependency treatment, or a degree in a related field (human services, social services, social work, addiction, psychiatric nursing or psychology) and one year of full time work experience in chemical dependency treatment. Must possess the ability to become a Qualified Addictions Professional within three years (achieve a minimum certification as a CDCII, BHAII or NCACI). Must be eligible to enroll as a provider in Alaska Medicaid. Preferred Qualifications: Current certification as a CDCI or higher.
