Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to join our team as a Dental Office Front Desk Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our patients. You will be the first point of contact for patients and will help ensure smooth operations in our dental office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental software.
- Verify patient information and update records.
- Collect patient payments, co-pays, and insurance information.
- Process insurance claims and verify insurance coverage.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Ensure the office is neat, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist the dental team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Schedule patients appointments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is a plus.
- Proficiency in dental office management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental insurance processes and billing is a plus.
