Summary: The Administrative Fellowship is a two-year paid position designed to offer recent graduates the opportunity to work in various sectors of healthcare administration, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship in healthcare management. Fellows take part in hands-on, operationally, strategic and financially focused projects and participate in various leadership activities that nurture professional growth. This position reports to ANTHC’s Administrator. In alignment with our organization's commitment to fostering opportunities within Alaska Native and American Indian communities, this position is intended for candidates of Alaska Native or American Indian descent.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with department heads and administrators to optimize hospital operations and enhance efficiency.

P articipate in strategic planning and the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

A ssist in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost efforts to maximize the organization's fiscal health.

C ontribute to quality improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and assisting in the development of improvement plans.

S upport various projects aimed at improving healthcare delivery, patient experience, and operational effectiveness.

M anage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications.

P articipate in leadership development programs, workshops, and mentoring opportunities to foster professional growth.

W ork closely with senior administrators to gain insights into leadership roles within healthcare organizations.
