Summary:
Under general supervision, assists the Fleet Coordinator and supports the equipment maintenance and repair needs for all ANTHC and Division of Environmental Health and Engineering (DEHE) fleet equipment and vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- A nalyzing machine system failures and recommends corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
- R ecommends appropriate repair procedures used in remote locations within Alaska.
- L ocates repair and support supplies at vendors.
- R ecommends best method of shipment to meet project schedule need.
- I nitiates orders through the purchasing process to support field construction efforts related to machinery.
- A ssists with freight movements as needed to ensure time frames are met.
- T rack tools, repair parts and supplies to ensure receipt at rural work sites.
