APFC External Partner Internship Program
We’re excited to announce an incredible internship opportunity with one of APFC’s valued external partners! To be considered for APFC’s external internship programs, applicants need to meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled at an Alaska university or be an Alaska resident attending school in any state.
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree or have graduated within the past six months.
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s or master's degree in business, finance, economics, business economics, or related fields – minimum GPA of 3.0 or the preferred academic standing of external partner internship program.

Eligibility Requirements for the Denali Advisors External Partner Internship
- Must be an Alaska resident attending school in any state, or a student enrolled at a post-secondary school in Alaska
- At least 60 credit hours at an accredited institution working toward a Masters or BS/BA economics, accounting, or business administration.
- 3.5 GPA – major
- 3.0 GPA – overall
- Qualified candidates must be self-motivated team players who have strong organizational and communication skills. While a background in finance or accounting is not required, applicants should be comfortable with basic numerical computation. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.

Internship Description
Denali Advisors provides career enhancing experiences by ensuring interns take responsibility over important general support functions such as report construction, account guideline review, trade allocation, portfolio modeling, research, and administrative tasks.
Based on area of educational study, interest, and availability; Interns will be assigned to one of the following core business units:
- Portfolio Operations
- Data Science
- Research
- Portfolio Management
- Consulting
- Compliance
- Administration
Travel, Compensation, and Housing
Interns are required to make their own transportation and housing arrangements. For Interns attending school outside of Alaska, Denali will provide reimbursement for airfare for one plane ticket to and one plane ticket from Anchorage. Further details of the reimbursement to be provided within the interview process.
Salary : $25
