Job Summary And Qualifications
As an HVAC Maintenance Mechanic at our facility you will have the opportunity to be both an expert in your field and a caregiver, providing important services for our patients and staff. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. You will joining an impressive team that prides themselves on keeping our hospital functioning well and looking its best. In this role:
- You will perform winter-stop maintenance on control chilled water and refrigeration systems, centrifugal chillers, and related equipment.
- You will maintain air handlers and HVAC distribution systems and assist with refrigeration tasks, repairs, and maintenance on generator sets and power-related equipment, along with fire pump and engine-driven equipment.
- You will maintain temperature controls per factory or equipment specification and calibrate pneumatic and digital controls.
- You will install, replace, and modify HVAC equipment controls as necessary and evaluate the effectiveness of energy conservation projects.
- You will perform, assist, or supervise the testing of medical gas systems and alarms as per regulatory authority requirements and testing procedures You will be responsible for overseeing the training of new and existing staff.
- Boiler Mechanic must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
