Project Director, Oil Search (Alaska) LLC, Anchorage, AK. Lead project execution strategy development and implementation for all aspects of the project development lifecycle. Develop and manage all major project contracts for procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning. Manage project services and quality functions to maintain all systems necessary to track project performance against cost, schedule, and productivity metrics. Manage all project documentation requirements, business processes, and quality deliverables. Manage relationships between the key stakeholders for the various projects through the planning, sanction, execution and start up phases. Evaluate projects against specified performance criteria on ongoing basis to align with the strategic objectives of the business unit. Coordinate third party peer reviews as part of the risk management and project assurance process. Streamline and make resource efficient process for evaluation of scenario optimization. Serve as the conduit for information exchange with clients to ensure they are aligned and moving on pace. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate support groups to assist with specialized requests. Lead and position the project team for project milestones and update corporate leadership on progress towards achieving each project milestone.
40 hrs / week, Mon-Fri, 8 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 30 p.m. $409,600 / yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and ten (10) years of post-Bachelor's, progressive, related work experience.
Must have ten (10) years of experience in / with the following :
- Holding senior leadership positions planning and executing major projects including accountability for safety, health, environment, process, people, and planning;
- Contractor commercial and performance management in a project execution environment
- Identifying value enhancing opportunities such as : balancing value and capital efficiency;
- In a senior leadership position in an upstream operating company responsible for leading multi-discipline teams;
- Commercial knowledge specifically related to upstream developments;
- Full range of engineering disciplines' technological advances and best practices;
- Leading the Management of Change process (MoC);
- Identifying communication gaps or misalignment between key project stakeholders;
- Moving projects from FEED through to FID and to completion;
- Assisting corporate support groups with specialized requests such as : audits, reviews, and technical collaborations; and
- Leveraging knowledge of upstream oil and gas projects to lead full project
