Position Summary : This position will work closely with existing school resources and community resources to address the needs of our extended learning and other high performing students. This individual must be able to build relationships with students, staff, and parents, and must be flexible, sincere, and positive.
The position will provide support to academically gifted students and their families. Duties will include supporting / facilitating the identification of gifted students, developing student learning plans, and collaborating with regular classroom teachers in the modification and / or differentiation of curricula by meeting regularly to review targeted academic needs and goals. The individual will facilitate and coordinate the spelling bee and geography bee.
