Company Overview: The Gold Creek Salmon Bake is committed to providing fresh, high-quality products to our customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Fish Fillet Specialist to join our team and help ensure the highest standards in processing our salmon fillets.
Job Description: As a Fish Fillet Specialist, you will be responsible for filleting whole salmon. The ideal candidate will have great knife skills, experience in seafood preparation or a strong willingness to learn the necessary skills for the role. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth flow of operations and meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and fillet salmon efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
Ensure proper handling and storage of fish to maintain freshness..
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor quality control standards and ensure products meet specifications.
Assist with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in fish filleting or seafood processing is preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with sharp tools.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy fish as needed.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
