Alaskan & Proud Markets is a locally owned and operated Grocery Store headquartered in Ketchikan, Alaska. We are looking for an energetic and innovative person to join our Ketchikan team. This position is for a Full or Part Time Janitorial Associate. There is a great opportunity for advancement within the Alaskan & Proud Operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Basic Understanding of Janitorial Services
Strong Cleaning Habits
Strong work ethic and dependable
Ability to communicate concerns & issues
Ability to arrive to work on time ready to start
Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. on a regular basis
Ability to stand/walk for a full 8-hr work
Basic full body motions: bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, and reaching
Flexibility with work schedule (including weekends and holidays)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting Janitorial Team with Cleaning of Store Facilities
Operation of floor scrubber
Documenting and record keeping of maintenance
Maintaining and cleaning maintenance and equipment areas
Following Direction from Supervisor
Any other tasks that are designated by the Store Director, Operations Manager or Evening Front End Supervisor.
Follows and complies with company policies and procedures
Follows and complies with Health and Safety policies
Contributing to a Positive We Work Atmosphere
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
