What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Service Technician position at Alaskan Plumbing Heating and Air?
We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team to service our residential and commercial clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair/Replace residential and commercial HVAC equipment ranging from 1-15 tons
- Perform thorough HVAC maintenance at residential and light commercial accounts
- Perform routine and emergency service on residential and commercial HVAC equipment commonly found in industrial applications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Comprehensive diagnostic skills
- Attention to detail and customer needs
- Must have ability to articulate service and repairs to clients
- Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage)
- Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures and governing requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Min 2 – 5 year experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The HVAC Service Technician position requires the ability to climb and work on residential and commercial rooftops and withstand high temperature weather for extended periods of time.
