A growing medical office is seeking a part time/PRN mid level 6-8 days a month-- varying Tuesday and Thursday shifts. Candidates must have experience in Pain Management OR psychiatry.
The chosen candidate will have excellent bedside manners with a caring and confident demeanor.
Job Description
- Evaluate Patients
- Obtain and record health histories
- Perform physical and development assessments
- Order appropriate diagnostic tests and labs
- Diagnose and treat health conditions
- Manage the health care of those patients for which they have been educated to provide health teaching and counseling
- Initiate referrals as appropriate consulting with physician
- Returns patient calls as needed
- Ensure tasks, labs, diagnostics have been reviewed and addressed as needed
- Communicate with supervising physician any items that need to be addressed for the clinic
Job Related Skills/Competencies
- Knowledge of Pain Management
- Basic familiarity with Pain Managements techniques
- Working knowledge of diagnoses and treatment of acute and chronic pain
- Basic working knowledge of pain related clinical procedures
- Critical thinking, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations governing Pain Management
- Responsible for providing a variety of professional medical services including administering physical examinations, ordering diagnostic exams and/or tests. Reviewing diagnostic tests, when medically necessary.
Must have a Texas License and DEA license. Must pass a background check and a drug test.
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
