Sr. IT Project Manager - Hybrid Springfield, MA.
Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Project Manager with experienced working on large IT integration projects / portfolio's.
PMP certification is required with CSM certification preferred.
Experience working in both Agile and waterfall methodologies.
3-5 plus years working in financial services / insurance industry is required.
Experience managing program / portfolio budgets is required.
2 years of vendor management and contract negotiation (SOW / Invoicing)
Work independently and with management on highly visible, complex projects with multi-platform deliveries. This includes developing, communicating / escalating, monitoring, and reporting on all project / program tasks and deliverables; actively managing the resource plan; and tightly managing the project budget, approved funding, forecasts and actuals.
Lead cross functional project teams and collaborate with various workstreams to manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies and be able to communicate and mitigate any foreseeable risks, issues.
Leads the Technical project team, assesses people and budget requirements, and works with the project sponsor to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy Collaborate and lead project delivery through strong Stakeholder and vendor relationship management Ensures compliance with the SDLC methodology for tasks, documentation, modifications, conversions and implementation. Ensuring tools / documentation are consistent and consistently leveraged across all projects.
