PARK / SMOKE MONITOR, Albany Care, Evanston, IL - PT
Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, seeks Smoke/Park Monitors.
We have a Variety of Open Schedules - All Part Time Positions
Starting pay rate of $18.00 per hour.
Available Positions:
7am-3pm, Saturdays and Sundays
3pm-11pm, Tuesdays and Saturdays
11pm-7am, Mondays and Tuesdays

Responsibilities of the Park/Smoke Monitor:
- Monitor the park across the street where our residents congregate/smoke for any potential behaviors or concerns
- Clean the park as needed
- Assess situations and prevent conflict
- Ensure safety, as necessary
- Provide beverages, such as water, to residents

Requirements
Requirements of the Park/Smoke Monitor:
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Previous experience as a park monitor or similar position a plus
- Some experience in a mental health facility helpful
- Ability to use a two-way radio
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, and tolerate all weather conditions
- Must be personable and patient with residents, staff, visitors and law enforcement
- Must be compassionate, understanding and tolerant of individuals with mental disorders
