Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our clubhouse's cleanliness and overall appearance, ensuring that members and guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and other repairs to building fixtures.
- Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
- Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the facilities.
- Set up facilities for special events, which require moving tables & chairs
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests or concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds at a time.
