DESCRIPTION:
The Albany County Public Defender is seeking a NYS barred attorney to serve as its Family Court Assistant Public De-fender. This is professional legal work involving the provision of legal services and counsel to qualified indigent persons in Family Court proceeding, including but not limited to Article 10, child support/visitation/custody and pre-petition repre-sentation. Duties are performed under the Administrative supervision of the Public Defender with leeway allowed in planning and carrying out the details and representation of each client/case.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Attorney with a New York State bar admission (or ability to waive into New York State from another jurisdiction) with two (2) years of experience in the practice of family court law.
