Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment within our facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The Maintenance Person will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall functionality of our operations.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance in apartments and the building.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using the Maintenance Work Orders.
- Collaborate with outside contractors to ensure efficient workflow on any building upgrades.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests in a timely manner.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with staff, tenants, and independent contractors.
- Ability to learn HUD NSpire regulations for inspections.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
