What are the responsibilities and job description for the OTR Driver position at ALBANY INDUSTRIES?
JOB PURPOSE
This position will work OTR - Home during the week and every weekend. Local furniture deliveries/unloading. (Hourly rate)/ Fulltime ( $.42/mile)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in accordance with company safety practices.
- Regular attendance and compliance with all work schedules.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have 1 year experience.
- Must have Class A CDL with good MVR.
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Prior work experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates primarily in a plant environment but also includes work in the office and warehouse areas.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, bend, stoop, kneel and twist, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time and use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Job is in a location in a plant where the temperature can be hot or cold depending on the weather.
