The Clinical System Informatics Manager provides leadership and management of campus clinical informatics department in collaboration with the Albany Med Health System informatics program. Collaborative development, education implementation and evaluation of clinical information systems.
Salary Range : 100,528.00 - 165,872.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide campus leadership in developing and managing a unified system informatics program that is supported enterprise-wide.
- Understand the impact of regulatory changes and communicate the impact of those changes on the informatics program.
- Collaborates with nursing, providers and organizational leaders in planning and implementing program expansion and growth, including new business ventures, construction, and projects.
- Ensures a competent, technology-enabled workforce in collaboration with the IT and Education Services teams.
- Nursing Quality
Incorporate nursing research and evidence-based nursing knowledge into nursing informatics practice.
Ensures nursing practices and corresponding policies and procedures related to health IT follow appropriate Practice Acts, accreditation requirements and other applicable regulations and standards.
Ensure that informatics principles adopted are used to inform and monitor proposed service redesigns so that they are effective in improving clinical practice and patient outcomes.

Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
