The E8 Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is seeking a dedicated weekend track day Registered Nurse to join our team. In this vital role, you will assist patients in adjusting to chronic illnesses or injuries, providing essential support and expertise in their recovery path.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform necessary treatments and procedures while documenting care in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to effectively assess patients' conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient needs and responses to the care provided.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment for patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
- Administer medications as prescribed, including both over-the-counter and prescription treatments.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans for all patients.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards.
