About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the HIV Medicine Clinic. As a part-time RN, you will provide direct patient care, patient triage, assessment, planning, directing, and evaluating patient-specific care plans and clinic visits.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assessing and documenting patient response to medication and treatments rendered, communicating effectively with patients, visitors, and staff, and participating in in-office procedures under the supervision of a Physician or APP.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care, including physical assessments, medication administration, and treatment management under the direction of a physician or APP
* Assess and document patient response to medication and treatments rendered
* Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff in an open and respectful manner
* Participate in in-office procedures under the supervision of a Physician or APP
* Perform diagnostic POCT and CLIA waived testing per MD/APP order and document results in EHR
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EHR
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and contribute to Facility (AMC), New York State, and National Quality data metrics
Requirements
* Associate's degree of a state-accredited Registered Nursing program required
* Minimum of 1-2 years of prior clinical nursing experience required
