Job Summary
The Assistant Nurse Manager is a leadership role responsible for coordinating, planning, and administering various aspects of patient care in the Elective Orthopedics unit at Albany Medical Center.
Main Responsibilities
- Mentor professional caregivers in delivering high-quality patient care
- Facilitate patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay
- Provide leadership and ensure competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services
- Collaborate with other service and department leaders to attain short- and long-term goals and objectives
