Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse to join our Neuro Progressive Care Unit at Albany Medical Center.
This role involves providing direct patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop patient care plans, and ensuring that all treatments and procedures are performed in accordance with company policy and local/state/federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform other medical procedures as needed.
- Document treatment and patient progress accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements
- RN degree from an accredited program.
- Current RN licensure in New York State.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a progressive care setting.
- CPR certification.
